Gandys opens in Bali!

We are delighted to announce that our latest education project has opened its doors to the children of Nyalian Village in Bali.

On the day of the grand opening, the community of Nyalian Village embraced the new facilities with open arms. Aron, a manager at Bali Children’s Project said:

“The reaction of the children was one of sheer joy. As you know already, they were learning from one building, an open sided 'bale' and a shack. But now they have this wonderful, inspiring and magical five classroom school.“

The community and Ayu, the Schools Support Manager, organised a thank you ceremony, with dancing, speeches and a ribbon cutting to formally welcome the children to their new school.

Gandys team member Linzi was there to officially open the school and see the results of this everyone’s hard work and dedication:

“It was the most wonderful, magical day. The transformation was incredible to see and the project has literally given these local villages and many more a life line. The director said she has worked on over 100 schools and this one was the most dilapidated and impoverished.”

This project underlines the central Gandys belief that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. By providing children in Nyalian Village with a safe learning environment, they will have the opportunity to explore their curiosity, creativity and ambition and pave a way to a better future.

As we celebrate this latest Gandys project, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have played a part in making this vision a reality, including our team, the Bali Children’s Project and especially our customers.

Together, we have the power to shape a world where every child has the chance to thrive and reach their full potential.

Thank you for being a part of something special.
